  This year is flying by and I'm embarrassed to JUST now be blogging for 2011.  I could blame the lack of blogging on recovering from the holidays, being pregnant, or just having wayyy too much going on.  However, instead of making excuses I will jump right in to the real reason behind this post. ;-)
  Valentine's Day!!  Yes, there is lots to love about this special day in February.  It's a day that we all have a really good excuse to eat lots of chocolate, be extra lovey dovey, mushy, and hopelessly romantic.  I personally think we should be this way every day of the year, but that's just me. :-D

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

I can hardly believe another year has come and gone!  The much anticipated Christmas season is no longer being awaited, the decorations are ready to hibernate until next year, and the guilt we all feel from too much "holiday cheer" (disguised as a myriad of delicious treats) will soon dissipate into our New Year's resolutions.  ;-)  
I've had a fabulous 2010!  How about you?  What did you learn the most from this past year?  What's one of your most memorable moments?  For me and my husband, our most memorable moment was probably learning that we are going to be parents!  What a thrilling and life changing moment that is!  Next to that, it would have to be the joy of making the big announcement to our families (on Christmas).  Needless to say, we're all eagerly awaiting 2011 (July to be more specific) 
As 2010 is brought to a close, I just want to thank each of you for all the wonderful support you've given me.  I've been encouraged by so many of you, and I want to sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart!  I can't wait to introduce new designs, and offer you even more variety in my handcrafted jewelry.  I love what I do and I'm honored to be able to design for YOU! I'm looking forward to a new year full of new designs, new inspiration, and new challenges.

Vintage Inspired Jewelry

I LOVE vintage inspired jewelry, in fact I love almost anything vintage inspired!  Right now there's a lot of clothing, jewelry, furniture, decor, etc. that lends itself to this style.  I have been staying extremely busy with my photography, but now that Winter is coming I will have much more time to design new pieces that reflect this personna! 
  I've also been making fabric flowers lately and love how each one is unique.  I have been incorporating these into various designs and love how they are turning out!  As Winter approaches, and I have even more time for jewelry designing, I will be blogging about these new pieces!  I will also be restocking my Etsy store with new vintage inspired pieces!  You won't wanna miss them!

Do You Like To JUGGLE?

  Where did the month go??  I suppose we've all been busy, one thing I know for sure is that I am a person who has a variety of interests.  My main two "hobbies" right now are Photography & Jewelry Design.  I LOVE what I do, I have these businesses in addition to being a wife, homemaker, musician, etc.  Sometimes, I just have to say that I feel like I'm juggling.  Do you ever feel like that?  Sometimes I'm amazed at how quickly a month passes!  I had to chuckle when I realized that it had been over a month since I've blogged.  Wow, how quickly time flies!!  I guess time flies when you're having fun aka "juggling". :-)

  Recently, my town did a story on my photography business.  I thought I'd share the article with you, and allow you to learn a little bit more about me.  (click on the article to enlarge) Once winter is upon us, my photography will slow down somewhat and my jewelry designing will pick up even more.  Life is a juggling act sometimes, but I LOVE it (most of the time - haha)!  I'm looking forward to sharing new jewelry designs with you soon!!  I'll be stocking my Etsy store again, and offering a few incentives to making that Holiday shopping even easier.
